dc.description.abstractEl intento de suicidio o tentativa de suicidio es la acción de atentar contra la vida del mismo ser humano provocando quitarse la vida deliberadamente. Este estudio, tiene por objetivo identificar los factores que influyen en el intento de suicidio de los adolescentes en edades tempranas (10-14 años) y tardías (15-19 años) (según la OMS) en la ciudad de Bucaramanga y el área metropolitana, desde la perspectiva de género. Reconociendo que en el intento de suicidio intervienen aspectos biológicos, psicológicos, fisiológicos, socioculturales y éticos, donde están involucrados tanto los padres como otros familiares, amigos, profesionales de salud, entre otros, se espera evaluar las relaciones sociales que tienen los adolescentes y la manera en la que éstas influyen en la tentativa de suicidio. Este estudio de enfoque mixto con un énfasis en lo cualitativo pretende analizar los factores que influyen en el intento de suicidio de los adolescentes en edades tempranas y tardías en la ciudad de Bucaramanga y con ello contribuir a la formación de estrategias preventivas que contribuyan a la mitigación de esta problemática.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishThe suicide attempt or attempted suicide is the action of attempting against the life of the human being, causing deliberate suicide. The objective of this study is to identify the factors that influence the suicide attempt of adolescents at an early age (10-14 years) and late (15-19 years) (according to the OMS) in the city of Bucaramanga and the metropolitan area, from a gender perspective. Recognizing that biological, psychological, physiological, sociocultural and ethical aspects intervene in the suicide attempt, where both parents and other family members, friends, health professionals, among others, are involved, it is expected to evaluate the social relationships that adolescents have and the way in which they influence the suicide attempt. This qualitative study aims to analyze the factors that influence the suicide attempt of adolescents in early and late ages in the city of Bucaramanga and thereby contribute to the formation of preventive strategies that contribute to the mitigation of this problem.spa
