| dc.description.abstract | Este proyecto desarrolla la caracterización de la semilla de la planta de Higuerilla (Ricinus Communis), la extracción del aceite, su refinación y el proceso de transesterificación para la obtención del biodiesel. Se discuten las características, limitaciones y beneficios del biodiesel obtenido. Su justificación se explica en su desarrollo en los aspectos de viabilidad y metodología empleada. Se obtuvo biodiesel a partir de aceite de higuerilla, el cual tuvo un proceso de extracción experimental en laboratorio. Posteriormente se realizó una caracterización para poder analizar parámetros de calidad del mismo, midiendo su densidad, viscosidad cinemática, humedad, y acidez. Para obtener el producto final (Biodiesel) se llevó a cabo una reacción de transesterificación del aceite de higuerilla conetanol, usando hidróxido de sodio (NaOH) como catalizador. Posteriormente se simuló en el Software Aspen Hysys para comparar los resultados obtenidos, con los alcanzados en laboratorio. | spa |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | This project develops the characterization of the seed of the Castor plant (Ricinus Communis), oil extraction, its refining and the transesterification process to obtain of biodiesel. The characteristics, limitations and benefits of the biodiesel obtained. Its justification is explained in its development in the aspects of feasibility and methodology employee. Biodiesel was obtained from castor oil, which had a experimental extraction process in the laboratory. Subsequently, a characterization was carried out to be able to analyze its quality parameters, measuring its density, kinematic viscosity, humidity, and acidity. To obtain the final product (Biodiesel), a transesterification reaction of castor oil with ethanol, using sodium hydroxide (NaOH) as a catalyst. It was later simulated in Aspen Hysys Software to compare the results obtained with those achieved in laboratory. | spa |
