dc.description.abstractLa ecografÍa doppler color testicular es el examen de elección para el estudio de masas intraescrotales, cuando se presentan sÍntomas como dolor testicular sin causa aparente, también en pacientes con trauma testicular o para diferenciar una torsión de un proceso infeccioso. En este artÍculo se realiza una revisión de las lesionesbenignas que pueden afectar los testÍculos, incluyendo los hallazgos ultrasonográficos que en algunos casos son de diagnóstico incidental pero de gran importancia, ya que de acuerdo a la etiologÍay su diferenciación con procesos patológicos malignos, dependerá en gran parte la preservación de este órgano, indispensable para lafertilidad masculina.[Lubinus Badillo F, Buitrago Aguilar C. dc.description.abstractenglishTesticular color Doppler ultrasound is the test of choice for the study of intrascrotal masses, when symptoms such as testicular pain without apparent cause occur, also in patients with testicular trauma or to differentiate a torsion from an infectious process. In this article, a review of the benign lesions that can affect the testicles is carried out, including the ultrasonographic findings that in some cases are of incidental diagnosis but of great importance, since according to the etiology and its differentiation with malignant pathological processes, it will largely depend on the Part of the preservation of this organ, essential for male fertility.
