[Cañón OL, Rodríguez MJ. dc.description.abstractenglishJuvenile ossifying fibroma is considered a benign, rapidly growing fibro-osseous neoplasm, most commonly diagnosed at ages between five and fifteen years. Its presentation is more common in the maxilla than in the mandible, although it is mainly located in the orbital, frontal and paranasal bones. There is still controversy in the histological classification and treatment due, perhaps, to the low recorded incidence. However, there is agreement on close follow-up due to the high probability of recurrence. The case of a two-year-old girl is described, who presented a juvenile ossifying fibroma in the lower jaw that involved several tooth germs. [Canyon OL, Rodríguez MJ.
