Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) is mainly caused by ruptured intracranial aneurysms. Important risk factors such as age, sex, smoking, hypertension (HT), the size of the aneurysms and the season of the year, among others, have been described. Mortality is up to 50%, up to 30% remain with serious sequelae and only 30% can carry out their activities independently. SAH requires immediate treatment to prevent further bleeding events. Currently, there are no SAH studies in our region evaluating the relationship of the size of the aneurysms with the risks of treatment. This retrospective cohort study is based on the analysis of anonymized secondary data, and the objective is to evaluate the association between prognosis and treatment complications, with the size of intracranial aneurysms in patients treated with subarachnoid hemorrhage at the FOSCAL clinic in the period from January 2014 to March 2019. A description of the variables and bivariate analysis will be made.spa
