This paper analyzes the relationship between research and public policymakers in the fight against corruption in Argentina, raising the question of what specificities of the issue in question influence the nature and nature of this relationship. It will show that the politicization of corruption, its judicialization, the absence of “corruptologists,” and the difficulty in producing data, make fluid interaction between the two sectors impossible. Finally, it presents an initiative, the creation of a Network of Researchers on Integrity and Corruption Prevention, established in 2020 and which was able to overcome many of the aforementioned obstacles. The research uses a qualitative methodology, combining a review of specialized literature and semi-structured interviews with key informants.spa
