dc.description.abstractDiariamente el profesional de la salud se encuentra en la necesidad de tomar decisiones; para lo que requiere de conocimientos actualizados los cuales establezcan un proceso de atención eficaz y oportuna. Por lo cual es de gran importancia que las instituciones cumplan con su proceso de actualización, socialización y evaluación al personal como lo requerido en los estándares y criterios de habilitación de la resolución 00002003 de 2014. La Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga en su práctica electiva de profundización PEP, brinda al estudiante la oportunidad de fortalecer sus habilidades en las diferentes áreas de la Enfermería como la docencia, la investigación y en este caso en particular el área administrativo; permitiendo al estudiante la generación de un pensamiento crítico en la toma de decisiones bajo un plan de acción establecido con el objeto de prevenir y reducir los riesgos, errores y daños que sufren los pacientes durante la prestación de la asistencia sanitaria. Una piedra angular de la disciplina que debe vincularse a una mejora continua basada en el aprendizaje a partir de los errores y eventos adversos.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishEvery day the health professional finds himself in the need to make decisions; for which it requires up-to-date knowledge which establishes an efficient and timely care process. Therefore, it is of great importance that the institutions comply with their process of updating, socializing and evaluating the staff as required in the standards and criteria for enabling resolution 00002003 of 2014. The Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga in its elective practice of deepening PEP, offers the student the opportunity to strengthen their skills in different areas of Nursing such as teaching, research and in this case in particular the administrative area; allowing the student to generate critical thinking in decision-making under an established action plan in order to prevent and reduce risks, errors and damages suffered by patients during the provision of health care. A cornerstone of the discipline that must be linked to continuous improvement based on learning from mistakes and adverse events.eng
