| dc.description.abstract | La automatización del proceso de reconciliación bancaria es un tema clave en la gestión financiera de las empresas. En esta tesis, se aborda este desafío mediante la integración de Excel con ChatGPT, una poderosa herramienta basada en inteligencia artificial. El objetivo principal es diseñar un sistema automatizado que mejore la eficiencia y precisión de la reconciliación bancaria, brindando beneficios significativos a las organizaciones. A través de un enfoque de investigación cualitativa, se identifican y analizan los desafíos y obstáculos que enfrentan las empresas en el proceso de reconciliación bancaria, considerando la revisión de literatura especializada. Se profundiza en las funcionalidades de Excel y ChatGPT para determinar cómo su integración puede automatizar eficazmente este proceso contable. Como resultado de la investigación, se desarrolla un manual detallado de instrucciones que guía la creación e implementación del sistema automatizado de reconciliación bancaria. Este manual proporciona pautas claras para aprovechar al máximo la integración de Excel con ChatGPT, permitiendo a los profesionales contables optimizar sus tareas y obtener resultados precisos de manera más eficiente. Se ha llegado a la conclusión de que la inteligencia artificial, en particular ChatGPT, tiene un papel fundamental en la transformación digital de las empresas y las profesiones contables. Si bien la automatización puede mejorar la eficiencia en tareas rutinarias, es importante destacar que no reemplazará completamente a los contadores, sino que actuará como una herramienta que les permitirá mejorar la precisión y eficiencia en sus actividades diarias. Por otro lado, la integración de Excel con ChatGPT ofrece beneficios adicionales para el proceso de reconciliación bancaria. ChatGPT actúa como un asistente virtual, proporcionando respuestas contextualmente relevantes y sugerencias basadas en patrones identificados previamente. Esta interacción mejora la precisión y la eficiencia, al tiempo que reduce la carga de trabajo manual. | dc.description.abstractenglish | The automation of the bank reconciliation process is a key topic in financial management for companies. In this thesis, this challenge is addressed by integrating Excel with ChatGPT, a powerful artificial intelligence-based tool. The main objective is to design an automated system that improves the efficiency and accuracy of bank reconciliation, providing significant benefits to organizations. Through a qualitative research approach, the challenges and obstacles faced by companies in the bank reconciliation process are identified and analyzed, considering a review of specialized literature. The functionalities of Excel and ChatGPT are explored to determine how their integration can effectively automate this accounting process. As a result of the research, a detailed instruction manual is developed to guide the creation and implementation of the automated bank reconciliation system. This manual provides clear guidelines for leveraging the integration of Excel with ChatGPT, enabling accounting professionals to optimize their tasks and achieve more efficient and accurate results. It has been concluded that artificial intelligence, particularly ChatGPT, plays a fundamental role in the digital transformation of companies and the accounting profession. While automation can improve efficiency in routine tasks, it is important to emphasize that it will not completely replace accountants but rather act as a tool that allows them to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of their daily activities. On the other hand, the integration of Excel with ChatGPT offers additional benefits for the bank reconciliation process. ChatGPT acts as a virtual assistant, providing contextually relevant answers and suggestions based on previously identified patterns.
