dc.description.abstractIntroducción: El bloqueo neurolítico del plexo hipogástrico superior es una opción eficaz para el manejo del dolor oncológico pélvico, reduciendo significativamente el dolor y el consumo de opioides. Sin embargo, la técnica transdiscal paramediana clásica puede presentar dificultades anatómicas. Para superarlas, se desarrolló la técnica transdiscal mediana modificada, que optimiza el acceso al plexo y minimiza el riesgo de complicaciones. Objetivo: Comparar la efectividad y seguridad de la técnica transdiscal paramediana convencional con la técnica transdiscal mediana modificada en términos de alivio del dolor, reducción del consumo de opioides, incidencia de eventos adversos y tiempo de ejecución del procedimiento.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishIntroduction: The neurolytic block of the superior hypogastric plexus is an effective option for managing oncologic pelvic pain, significantly reducing pain and opioid consumption. However, the classic paramedian transdiscal technique may present anatomical challenges. To overcome these, a modified median transdiscal technique was developed, optimizing access to the plexus and minimizing the risk of complications. Objective: To compare the effectiveness and safety of the conventional paramedian transdiscal technique with the modified median transdiscal technique in terms of pain relief, opioid consumption reduction, incidence of adverse events, and procedure execution time.spa
