dc.description.abstractEstablecer la seguridad del empleo de un dispositivo de gastrostomÍa percutánea a nivel domiciliario en niños con necesidades alimenticias especiales derivadas de limitaciones neuromotoras o digestivas, verificando su funcionalidad. Métodos: 32 niños con gastrostomÍa fueron manejados en forma ambulatoria, (edad entre 0.4 a 5.5 años). Previo a la gastrostomÍa se realizó visión fluoroscópica de la deglución, tránsito esofágico y vaciamiento gástrico; pH-metrÍa esofágica y esofagogastroduodenoscopÍa. Se colocó un dispositivo en forma percutánea por gastroscopÍa, y en cuanto fue posible, se les colocó en un protocolo de manejo ambulatorio domiciliar con participación activa de la familia y re-evaluaciones periódicas.[Palacios J. dc.description.abstractenglishEstablish the safety of the use of a percutaneous gastrostomy device at home in children with special nutritional needs derived from neuromotor or digestive limitations, verifying its functionality. Methods: 32 children with gastrostomy were managed on an outpatient basis (age between 0.4 to 5.5 years). Before the gastrostomy, fluoroscopic vision of swallowing, esophageal transit and gastric emptying was performed; Esophageal pH-metry and esophagogastroduodenoscopy. A device was placed percutaneously by gastroscopy, and as soon as possible, they were placed in an outpatient home management protocol with active participation of the family and periodic re-evaluations.
