dc.description.abstractPocos estudios han comparado los stents Pipeline Shield con generaciones anteriores de stents diversores de flujo (DF) para el tratamiento de aneurismas intracraneales (AI) no rotos. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo evaluar la eficacia y la seguridad de los stent DF sin superficies modificadas y Pipeline Shield. La presente evaluación es un estudio de cohorte retrospectiva de pacientes con AI no rotos tratados por vía endovascular. Los datos analizados se obtuvieron de la base de datos anonimizada del servicio de Radiología Intervencionista de la institución.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishFew studies have compared Pipeline Shield stents with previous generations of flow-diverting (FD) stents for the treatment of unruptured intracranial aneurysms (IAs). This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of surface-modified FD stents and Pipeline Shield. This evaluation is a retrospective cohort study of patients with unruptured IAs treated endovascularly. The data analyzed were obtained from the anonymized database of the institution's Interventional Radiology Department.eng
