| dc.description.abstract | La dermatitis atópica se define como una enfermedad inflamatoria de la piel, crónica, de etiológia multifactorial cuyo diagnóstico es básicamente clÍnico, con un buen pronóstico. Su prevalencia ha aumentado en forma importante en las últimas décadas y afecta una buena proporción de niños y adultos. Su manejo involucra inicialmente al médico de atención primaria, con intervención del especialista según la severidad y complicaciones del cuadro clÍnico.[Vásquez JA. Dermatitis atópica. | dc.description.abstractenglish | Atopic dermatitis is defined as a chronic inflammatory skin disease of multifactorial etiology whose diagnosis is basically clinical, with a good prognosis. Its prevalence has increased significantly in recent decades and it affects a good proportion of children and adults. Its management initially involves the primary care physician, with specialist intervention depending on the severity and complications of the clinical picture.[Vásquez JA. Atopic dermatitis.
