dc.description.abstractPercibió su interés en el vidrio luego de asistir a la Universidad Industrial de Santander UIS en Colombia, para entonces viajar a Caracas, Venezuela y realizar el aprendizaje de Vitrales. A través de este encuentro empieza a descubrir la bella y etérea naturaleza del vidrio el cual es el punto de partida para el desarrollo de su creatividad. Sus conocimientos de construcción de vitrales lo guiaron de manera natural al proceso del encuentro con la vitrofusión y el casting de vidrio, lo que puede ser logrado de la misma manera que con la pintura o escultura; Daniel consolidó esta predilección por el vidrio termoformado para convertirlo en su profesión y continuamente se esfuerza en crecer como artesano y artista para avanzar en su trabajo de manera técnica y conceptual al tiempo que procura la creación de un arte en vidrio que abarca desde una simple pieza funcional hasta esculturas de gran formato, paredes, ventanas, puertas, lámparas e instalaciones.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishHe perceived his interest in glass after attending the Universidad Industrial de Santander UIS in Colombia, before traveling to Caracas, Venezuela and learning stained glass. Through this encounter he begins to discover the beautiful and ethereal nature of glass, which is the starting point for the development of his creativity. His knowledge of stained glass construction guided him naturally to the process of encountering vitrofusion and glass casting, which can be achieved in the same way as with painting or sculpture; Daniel consolidated this predilection for thermoformed glass to make it his profession and continually strives to grow as a craftsman and artist to advance his work technically and conceptually while striving to create glass art that ranges from a simple piece functional to large format sculptures, walls, windows, doors, lamps and installations.eng
