dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación tuvo como objetivo describir los factores de riesgo de Burnout en el personal de enfermería de la Clínica San José de Cúcuta (Norte de Santander). Se aplicó el instrumento denominado Cuestionario de Desgaste Profesional en Enfermeras (Moreno y cois., 2000) a un grupo de 24 jefes de enfermería y 38 enfermeras profesionales auxiliares, con edades entre los 25 y los 45 años. A nivel de validez estadística de los datos recopilados se pudo calcular un coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach de 0,9501, superior al obtenido en la estandarización de la prueba original. Los resultados permitieron determinar que el nivel de riesgo general de Burnout es muy bajo, aunque existen áreas como el control externo y el manejo de situaciones estresantes, en las cuales valdría la pena intervenir de manera preventiva. Adicionalmente, el cálculo de las correlaciones entre los componentes del Burnout (agotamiento emocional, espersonalización y falta de realización personal) y los factores propios de la labor de enfermería, permitieron identificar áreas que requieren atención por parte de la institución para evitar la aparición del síndrome de Burnout, como son la sobrecarga laboral, las consecuencias psicológicas, organizacionales y sociofamiliares del ejercicio de la enfermería, la falta de cohesión y la interacción conflictiva con el resto del personal, y los esquemas de supervisión establecidos por la organización.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishThe objective of this research was to describe the risk factors of Burnout in the nursing staff. of the San José de Cúcuta Clinic (Norte de Santander). The instrument called Wear Questionnaire was applied Professional in Nursing (Moreno et al., 2000) to a group of 24 heads of nursing and 38 professional nurses assistants, aged between 25 and 45 years. At the level of statistical validity of the collected data, a Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of 0.9501 could be calculated, higher than that obtained in the standardization of the original test. The results allowed us to determine that the general risk level of Burnout is very low, although there are areas such as external control and the management of stressful situations, in which it would be worthwhile to intervene preventively. Additionally, the calculation of the correlations between the components of Burnout (emotional exhaustion, personalization and lack of personal fulfillment) and the factors of nursing work, allowed identifying areas that require attention from the institution to avoid the appearance of the syndrome. of Burnout, such as work overload, psychological, organizational and socio-family consequences of nursing practice, lack of cohesion and conflictive interaction with the rest of the staff, and the supervision schemes established by the organization.spa
